THE WINNING STREAK CONTINUES

Congratulations to

Playwright Joseph P. Krawczyk!

In addition to his recent awards sweep for his play, "It's All About Lorrie" at The Thespis Theatre Festival this Summer (Best Play, Best Direction, Best Actor, and Best Actress), last night he was awarded Best Playwright for his one-act, "The Changing Room" by the American Theatre of Actors (ATA) at the famed Sardi's.

The play was produced in early June, 2016 at ATA. It was also paired with another one act, Norman, written by Vincent Apollo, who also won a Jean Dalrymple award for his play. Both plays were directed by Vincent Apollo.

Synopsis for "The Changing Room"
In the tradition of The Theater of the Absurd, a man, under his wife’s urging, walks into the changing room of The Gap clothing store to try on a new pair of jeans. Unable to exit the changing room, he finds himself trapped in an alternate dimension. The salesman accuses the wife and her husband of theft. The wife balks, demanding that her husband be returned to her. What happens next changes their lives forever.

Congratulations to Joe! His award winning play, "It's All About Lorrie" will be making a limited Engagement stop at ATA in late January on its journey Off Broadway! Learn more here: It's All About Lorrie and please don't miss out.
